Basic answers so far:

1 – No. Only those who meet our submission deadline of 25 Jan will be eligible for the café circuit. Of course there will be a few late entries in the week following, and we’ll let them in too. But we have to stop that at some stage (preferably end Jan), so that we can get the MAPP finalised. For the really late entries, we will have a small section in the opening night venue, called One Night Stand, where they can exhibit their main body of work during the opening night party, and not be part of the café circuit. Alternatively they can just add photos to the Open Wall, which will also be part of the Opening Night event.

2 – Keep in mind that those who are part of the café circuit will have “teasers” made for them, showing the one or two pics plus some info about them plus details of where their main body of work is exhibited, to be put on the walls of the opening night venue. So for the café circuit peeps, their main body of work should be up on the 22nd already (in the cafes), and we’ll have the preview/teasers up during the opening night event. This is one reason why we ask for electronic format files of some of their pics as well, so that we can design their teasers. For the One Night Stand people, we’ll keep submissions open until maybe a week before the opening night. For the open wall people, there is no deadline, since they just bring their work with them to the opening night event.

3 - Opening night = 22 02 2008.

Thanks for these questions, they are all very valid, and they help me to set up the required documentation to help in the near future .
